For many parents, the dream is for your child to go to University, and that’s a wonderful goal! For Jefferson, I encourage him to dream and set goals for college. However, I am still making an effort to live in reality. I realize that attending a University isn’t for everyone. If Jefferson came up to me and said “Mom, I don’t think college is for me, I’d like to become an electrician” I’d be fine with that. All I ask from my son is that he strives to be the best he can be at whatever he chooses to do.
